Toyota has announced that its sales in the US market in February of this year was 166,377 vehicles, the sales of the same time last year was 159,462 vehicles, an increase of 4.3%. As the sales day for 24 days in February of this year, while sales day for 25 days in February last year, according the DSR rules, Toyota sales in the US in February grew 8.7% year-on-year.
According to the model category, Toyota sold 96,326 cars in US in February, while the same time last year sold 99,142 vehicles, a year-on-year decline of 2.8%, but according to the daily sales rate, it grew 1.2% compared to the same period last year. Toyota truck sales in February were 70,051 vehicles compared to 60,320 units in the same period last year, climbing 16.1% year-on-year.
In February of this year, Toyota’s business unit sales in the US were 149,038 vehicles, an increase of 4.4% year-on-year, according the daily sales rate, grew 8.7% compared with the same time last year.
